Volkan Akin is a Berlin-based electronic music producer and live performer known for his distinctive style. Of Turkish descent, he discovered his passion for electronic music in his early 20s and began DJing and producing his own tracks. His career as a live artist has taken him to internationally renowned clubs. Volkan combines simple musical structures with complex modular synthesis, captivating rhythms and hypnotic energy, earning him a solid reputation in the electronic music scene. His notable releases include EPs such as Voltage EP (2013, with a remix of Ricardo Villalobos) on Sammy Dee’s imprint Ultrastretch Rec., Hellocopter EP(2014), Outcry EP(2022).
