Fumiya Tanaka founded "Torema Records" Japan's first independent techno label in 1993, "I am not a DJ" was debut in 1995 on Sony Records, On the other hand he has been organizing his own party in Japan called "CHAOS" for over 30 years regularly plays. From 1995 to 2009, he regularly held tours in Europe. After moving in 2010, Fumiya Tanaka is now based in Berlin he performs worldwide everywhere. (EU, UK, North America & South America). After passing through 「opdisc」, which started in 2005 with Yoshihiro Hanno, In recent years his creative works are on his own label,Sundancesincere 2008, remix work, collaborates with artists, designs project under the name 「htts: 」, runs the online store 「One More Thing」, among other things.
Designing the space through an approach that involves playing records to ensure they are chosen for the dance floor. This takes into account the DJ, the track selection, the audience, the sound quality and every other aspect of the venue. The records are played as if guided by the 'What record must be turn on of that moment', with the very best records in the moment what Tanaka foreseeing it continually selected.
Through his long career over 30 years as a DJ and an artist, His signature DJ style unfolds in simultaneous response between the sound with solid groove by a across-genre selection of those tracks and the dance floor is extraordinary.

自らのセルフレーベルであるSundance、TOREMA RECORDS、そしてドイツのレーベルPerlon、東京・大阪で25年以上に渡りオーガナイズしているレギュラーパーティCHAOSを活動の基盤とし、独創的な音楽表現の拡張を実践し続けるテクノDJ/アーティスト。とりわけミニマルな指向を持ったテクノを媒体としながら、サウンドそのものから導かれる自発的な空気と濃密なグルーヴの厚みを生み出すそのプレイスタイルはキャリア25年以上を経た現在もなお傑出した存在感を示す。
