20.02.2010		Psssst! mit Woody @ Spielplatz Club, Mönchengladbach Mönchengladbach freut sich am Samstag, den 20. Februar nach längerer Abstinenz in deren Breitengraden die Berliner DJ Koryphäe WOODY auf der PSSSST! begrüßen zu dürfen! Woody zählt zu den respektiertesten DJs Deutschlands und ist ein Virtuose hinter den Turntables. Genau genommen ist er der einzige Techno/House DJ, in dessen Sets akzentuierte Scratches und Backspins noch ihre Berechtigung haben. Da kommt die alte Schule in ihm durch, denn der frühere Breakdancer ist bereits seit zwei Jahrzehnten an den Decks aktiv. Seine erste Residency hatte er ´92 im „Planet“, dem späteren Kultclub „E-Werk“. Von hier aus war er maßgeblich an der Schöpfung des Berliner Clubsounds beteiligt. 2000 gründete er sein Label Fumakilla, mit dem er unzählige Clubhits hervor brachte und das noch heute fester Bestandteil in den Sets der Herren Väth, Villalobos, Garnier, Wink & Co ist. Sein erster Remix Woody vs. Kissogramm „If I had known this before“ enterte sogar die Deutschen Charts und genießt heute Klassiker-Status. Mittlerweile gibt es keinen Kontinent, kein Festival und keinen namhaften Club, wo er noch nicht gespielt hat. Woody ist ein Vollblut-DJ, absoluter Techno-Lebemann und obendrein auch noch ein echter Spaßvogel, was ihn zu einem perfekten Kandidaten macht, um im Rahmen der PSSSST! den Partytieren in uns und Euch wieder freien Lauf zu lassen. Dafür schlüpfen wir auch gern wieder in unsere zweiten Ichs, es geht ja schließlich um Euer Entertainment. Dem guten Woody gefiel unser Eventkonzept übrigens so gut, dass er sich gar nicht lange bitten ließ, was die Party schon jetzt unter einen guter Stern stellen dürfte. Die Herren des Hauses Sven Palzer und H-nes sind natürlich ebenfalls wieder mit von der Party, um das musikalische Rahmenprogramm und die Afterhour zu bestreiten. Das ganze Spektakel wie immer begleitet am Lichtflügel mit Visuals von unserem „Lichtkonverter“.

09.02.2010		Pikaya at GS Live – Club Zukunft - Teclectic.net Podcast 01 Daniel Ramm from Pikaya talks about the GS Live Night at Club Zukunft: It’s a great idea to create a club night featuring live acts only. I’m sure that is is exciting for the audience to listen to music that hasn’t yet been released or maybe even never will be, music that can’t be found in every dj case and can’t be ordered online for no money. We are really looking forward to play at the Zukunft. Crew, PA, club size and atmosphere are simply perfect and the line-up is always well chosen and carefully compiled. We easily get into a conversation with the other participating acts and like to seize the opportunity to discus about technics and get inspired by each other. The great collaborative release (editor’s note: Gregorythme / Pikaya – UmmO / Amsterdam – GS06) that has come out of it tops the whole thing off and bundles the different approaches.
